Appeal to Valencia International & Business News

Valencia International & Business News was recently approached by some Dutch University students looking for practical experience with a Valencian company. Their messages were as follows:

“We are four students from the Netherlands who are taking a postgraduate course in Business Engineering at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede.

We would like to organize a trip to the city of Valencia, and during this week we would like to visit a company for an English guided tour. For our course, the visit also needs to be related to Business Engineering. For example the guide can tell us about Lean Management or any other business models used in the company.

We will be in Valencia for the period from 11 April 2010 to 16 April 2010.

Do you know a company/university, who can give us an English guided tour? It's difficult to find for us. Hopefully you can help us.

In a second e mail they added:

“during our week in Valencia we will visit  (if it is possible) 5-6 companies. It would be nice if it is related to our course (Business Engineering). A Construction company would be fine, but also a factory of cars/wood/textile/food. We would like to know how the company works, for example what business models they are using.
