Resuinsa Cleans Up Around the World

The Valencian textile company Resuinsa, which specialises in linen for the hotel and restaurant sectors, has had a busy year taking Valencian design around the world, participating in Trade Fairs in  Dubai, Abu Dhabi  Marrakech, Vienna, Amsterdam, Horecava and Eindhoven.   

A quarter of the company’s turnover now comes from international sales, as well as dominating the Spanish market with a 50% share. 3% of its income is reinvested in R+D+I.

The company, which already has offices Panama, México, Dominican Republic Aruba and Cape Verde has now turned its eyes to the Middle East, where Valencian creativity is opening a niche in the market, with offices in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Arab Emirates and Qatar.

The company recently entered into a commercial alliance with the Merweb hotel chain, with two hotels in Doha, to add to other hotels in Doha, Oran, Qatar and Bahrain.  

The European market has not been forgotten, and Resuinsa fabrics are to be found in a number of hotels and restaurants across the old continent. They have for example done business in France with some of the finest restaurants in Carcassonne, Biarritz; Magesq, Pezens, Corsica, Toulouse and Paris. 

CEO Félix Martí, has indicated that the United Status is the next area into which the company hopes to leap.

More than 330 people work for Resuinsa in the Valencian Community directly and indirectly, as well as 40 abroad. The company operates from a series of small workshops all over the Community, with its main base of operations in Montaverner.
